Otherwise: count the stops between the two apertures, multiply your metered time by the factor, then look up that row. Example: metered 5 s at f/8, shooting f/16 = +2 stops → ×4 → use the 20 s row.
Highlighted rows are whole stops; the others are the third-stop clicks in between.
Rows = your metered reading. Reciprocity-failure-adjusted column = actual exposure to set (no ND).
Blue = correction applied   Grey = below film's threshold, no failure yet (= metered).
+ND columns add that filter on top. ND4=2 stops · ND8=3 · ND16=4 · ND4+8=5 · ND4+16=6 · ND8+16=7.
"—" = resulting exposure exceeds the shared 600 s display ceiling (or, for Provia 100F, its own 512 s manufacturer limit). This is a table-reading cap, not necessarily the stock's real safe limit — check the calculator's per-film note for stocks rated well beyond it.
Metered rows: 1–100 s (1 s steps), 100–200 s (5 s steps), 200–300 s (10 s steps), 300–600 s (20 s steps).
Aperture works exactly like an ND filter — it changes the time going in, never the correction itself. See the multiplier table above.
